Whether you are expecting to hit menopause in the near future or are already in the perimenopause, menopause or post menopause stages – All are Welcome.
This can so often be a time of isolation, a time of grieving, a time of emotional upheaval, a time of hormonal imbalance, a time when we feel out of touch with our bodies, a time of mental anguish, a time of sleep disruption & exhaustion.  We don’t have to do it alone. Times are changing and this taboo topic is out in the open – women are coming together. It’s about seeing ourselves through a new lens. Ladies –we’re entering our Wisdom Years – let’s rejoice in that !
Women are at their most powerful when they are in a Strong Supportive Community. Our Satsang.
The day will include the following:

Short lunch break with light healthy snacks, fruit, vegan chocolate & nutritious teas.

After lunch we will engage in a Pranayama practice which may help alleviate some of the physical symptoms you may be experience during menopause.

From here we will progress to the practice of restorative yoga with a guided Yoga Nidra exploring transient & transformational sensations taking you to a point of zero desire for moment in anticipation for a beautiful vibrational sound bath by Ashleigh.

Numbers will be kept small (10)  to create an intimate and confidential setting. Our Safe Space.

This will be dealt with in the strictest confidence. We stand in the belief that nobody should be excluded from the practice of yoga because of money.

Some words from Sharon ( My Yoga Seed)

‘This Offering has been birthed out of my own personal experience of ongoing Menopause which I have found challenging emotionally, physically and mentally. It is also influenced by beautiful souls that have gone before me in sharing their expertise, knowledge & generosity of spirit such as Alexandra Pope, Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer & Petra Coveney.
During the physical practice of movement in yoga, I will encourage you to tune into your bodies as you find them on the day. I am but a Guide. Trust your body & tailor the practice to suit you. I invite rather than instruct.
I invite you to approach your practice with Awareness, Acknowledgement and Acceptance’

as we journey through Menopause

Saturday 22nd April 10am to 2pm. Prestwich, Manchester.

Gentle Flow into Guided Meditation.Wednesdays 6pm/£8
Manchester Yoga Central , Victoria Warehouse, Old Trafford:

The beauty of Slow Flow is that you get to work through a choreographed sequence but you are encouraged to do so with a sense of calm, intention and attention.

It is so important to approach this practice with mindfulness and to connect not only to your breath but to also listen to the innate & inbuilt intelligence that our bodies already possess.

As we move through postures, we maybe stay there for 4 or 5 breaths but it's not about holding a rigid posture but rather exploring the pose and seeing how your body responds. It's all about making the pose work for your body at this very moment in time. Opening and closing, deepening and rising with the breath. Awakening to the more subtle layers within which radiate from our Dantien - our Centre of Gravity. We will bring the end the practice to a close with a guided meditation.

This class is pre-bookable via the Manchester Yoga Central Website: http://www.manchesteryogacentral.co.uk/classes

"Do not kill the instinct of the body for the glory of the pose. Do not look at your body like a stranger but adopt a friendly approach towards it. Watch it, listen to it, observe it's needs, it's requests and even have fun with it. To be sensitive is to be alive "
