Live Virtual Classes
'You cannot transmit wisdom and insight to another person. The seed is already there. A good teacher touches the seed, allowing it to wake up, to sprout and to grow'.
Thich Nhat Hahn
A new 6 week live online course starting on 12th April 2021
Zoom Classes every Monday 7pm & Thursday 6.30pm.
plus 1 x 2hr Restorative Workshop
Just as Nature reawakens and shakes off the long dark winter slumber, it’s also time for us as beings to also plant the seeds of intention and attention in our practice of yoga to make the most of this time of year and leap into this wonderous time of energy ,vitality and reawakening. Working to harmonize yourself with the cycles of nature, it’s necessary to strive to always maintain balance within our lives. We will therefore be working with a gentler yet challenging yoga practice to open the week on Mondays and a super sweet Slow Flow Practice on Thursdays. I will close the course with a 2-hour workshop which will pull together all that we have explored during our six-week journey.
Included in this course :
Gentle Yoga on Mondays at 7pm to include a 20 min guided or mindful meditation. This is a Hatha based class which is also influenced by the practice of Yin.
Slow Flow Thursdays at 6.30pm. This class relates more to our Yang side and takes us through a series of intertwining flows that we will build upon throughout the course.

All weekly classes are 75 mins.
Each class is recorded and made available for you to catch up with at your leisure should you miss the class or wish to repeat.

My Story so far
A Life of Balance
I first discovered yoga whilst travelling through Asia (India, Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam) in 2006 and 2007. Upon my return I continued my yoga journey trying out many different styles of yoga to see what felt right both for me spiritually, mentally & in my physical body. Over the years I have trained with Diane Long, Donna Farhi and some amazing local teachers such as Nikki Hambrook, Jane Craggs, Jacqui Wells and Maureen Wray to name but a few. Eventually no longer able to ignore the calling, I undertook my 200hr teacher training with Yoga Campus in Manchester. I have also completed further studies in Pranayama, Meditation, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra. Being on a Yoga Journey involves continuous learning, exploration and development which I love to both embrace and to share. My teaching encourages the participant to seek and find that true sweet connection between the body and mind via the breath. I aim always to offer up a well rounded yoga class including meditation, pranayama, a sprinkling of yogic philosophy as well as the practice of asanas. I teach & also manage Manchester Yoga Central as well as The Yoga Seed in Oldham. Due to the current pandemic I have taken my teaching online but hope to soon return to teaching in studios also.
