And here in the present moment .....

Autumn into Winter 2022:

It's been rejuvenating to take some time out this Summer to simply be but also to undertake some further studies in Yoga which of course is a life long journey as well as delving further into the beautiful wisdom of Sacred Oils. I've also enjoyed some retreat time which is always so inspiring - precious time where you can completely cut yourself off from everyday life and truly dedicate your time and go deep into your practice.

I just love Autumn time. It truly is my favourite time of year - the changes in nature and light and time. Which brings my longing to return to teaching and sharing this beautiful gift of Yoga.

Mondays Nights Live Virtual Offering via zoom will resume on the 12th of September.

Seek refuge from the turbulence of the Wider World & look to the inside for inner Peace & Calm.  Only then when we return to the Outer World do we have the Power to Transform it.

Join us for an Deep Winter evening in salute to the Wolf Moon on January 6th 2023.  Traditionally it is the time of year where food is scarce and the Wolf howls to the moon in hunger. This is a time to come together to avail of tools which are designed to promote deep winter rest by way of Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Healing Vibes of a Sound Bath.  Taking your attention mindfully inward building inner reserves to prepare ourselves for the Winter months ahead, shedding layers of all that no longer serves us in preparation for the Reawakening that Spring brings.

Surrounded by the blended aroma of Sacred Oils  & Candle-light, Sharon will guide you through a series of Restorative Postures which provide deep winter rest taking our awareness to the more subtle internal energy bodies. Restorative Yoga with the support of props offers you the time out to work in a very passive but meditative form of yoga whilst focusing on the breath. This work helps you to connect with your parasympathetic nervous system thereby  releasing tension and stress and promoting a sense of calm, fortitude and well-being.   We will then come into a relaxing supported Savasana in preparation  for the gift of sound healing .  We will combine an uplifting yet grounding Meditation in the company of the gongs before handing over to GongHolistic for a full on High Vibrations Gong Bath.  Sharon will be on hand for mini massages for those that wish to avail.  Expect to feel rejuvenated, refreshed, energised and better prepared for the winter months ahead.

We deliberately keep the group small to ensure individual attention and comfort.

Monday Night. Gentle Yoga into Meditation

In this 60 min class we will move through a series of postures working initially from the floor and then up through to standing. This is a Hatha based practice with influences of Yin. It is a beautiful, breath led class to awaken your body and prepare you for the week ahead both physically and mentally. We will close with a Guided Mindful Meditation. This class is offered via zoom. It is suitable for all levels including Beginners. Go to the 'Book Online' section of this website.

Gentle Flow into Guided Meditation.Wednesdays 6pm/ 75 mins/£8
Manchester Yoga Central , Victoria Warehouse Hotel, Old Trafford:

The beauty of Slow Flow is that you get to work through a choreographed sequence but you are encouraged to do so with a sense of calm, intention and attention.

It is so important to approach this practice with mindfulness and to connect not only to your breath but to also listen to the innate & inbuilt intelligence that our bodies already possess.

As we move through postures, we maybe stay there for 4 or 5 breaths but it's not about holding a rigid posture but rather exploring the pose and seeing how your body responds. It's all about making the pose work for your body at this very moment in time. Opening and closing, deepening and rising with the breath. Awakening to the more subtle layers within which radiate from our Dantien - our Centre of Gravity. We will bring the end the practice to a close with a guided meditation.

This class is pre-bookable via the Manchester Yoga Central Website:

"Do not kill the instinct of the body for the glory of the pose. Do not look at your body like a stranger but adopt a friendly approach towards it. Watch it, listen to it, observe it's needs, it's requests and even have fun with it. To be sensitive is to be alive "
